So we have another cover reveal for you today and if I'm honest it's one I'm not impressed about. I think most people know I loved Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi. It was one of my favourite books of last year and I thought it wasd fantastic. One of my all time favourite dystopian books.
Well... personally I think the original cover was absolutely perfect for the book. I love that cover so I am not really happy about the cover makeover and it being re-released with a new cover. Don't even get me started on the fact that the other books in the series will match this new cover.
Seriously? How many publishers are going to do this? Helooooooo, OCD over here, I seriously start hyperventilating at the thought of having a mismatched series. But never mind that I'm rambling. So here it is the brand new cover of Shatter Me.
So what do you guys think?
I don't like it. I'll be getting it because I can't have my books not matching but I am in no way happy about the cover change. I don't think it reflects the story at all and I think the other cover showed the storyline so much better than this one.
I 100% think that it is the wrong choice to change the covers. I think I'm the only one but that's my opinion.
